Passion

Hi guys this week I wanted to talk with you all about passion and a different type of passion at that.  Throughout the course of my articles I have talked about how Robbie had an unbelievable level of passion for the game of baseball when he played but I wanted to show all of you that that type of passion can be displayed inn different types of work all the same.  This past summer at the Toshiba Celebrity Golf Classic I had an opportunity to introduce another really close friend of mine Sterling Jarvis to Robbie and Robbie got to see someone else be equally as passionate with what they do as he was on the playing field.  You see Sterling is one of the stars of the hit musical We Will Rock You - based on the music of the late great Freddie Mercury and Queen currently on stage in Toronto at the Panasonic Theatre.  Although Robbie had only met Sterling for the first time at the tournament he quickly began to realize that Sterling was a good person and believed in his abilities.  Now I know most of you are reading this and asking yourselves the question - Why would I talk about a musical and reference someone who to you all is still fairly anonymous?  Quite simply it's to prove my point that whether you are a professional athlete or a theatrical performer you have to bring the same level of intensity abd passion to the forefront every time you go out there in order for people to truly believe in what you are doing, and last but certainly not least I've talked numerous times about how Robbie cares about me and our friendship all I can tell you that Sterling is much the same and  it's a privilege and a pleasure to  call Robbie  a dear friend and family.  It is also nice to have someone who is equally as important to me fifteen minutes down the road.  Please keep your eyes and ears peeled because it is rumored that We Will Rock You could be coming to a city near you in the spring of 2009 - YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!!!
