Wow, Ryan Braun?

This is an amazing story, and we’d like to hear your thoughts. As most of you probably already know, NL MVP Ryan Braun recently tested positive for Performance Enhancing Drugs. He was immediately hit with a 50-game suspension. Everyone, apparently even Braun himself, was shocked.

What is perhaps even more shocking is the recent news that a prescription for a private medical condition may have contained an ingredient that can trigger a positive test result.

Even so, experts believe that Braun has no shot at getting his suspension for next season lifted. They claim that every player is responsible for everything that goes into their body.

So, was he trying to cheat? Did he think that the “medication” story would be a good alibi if he ever got caught? Or is he just a good guy caught in a bad situation?

Should he still retain his MVP award?
